Algebra

Thanks to this course, I am now able to interpret, analyze, compare, and contrast functions that are represented numerically, tabularly, graphically, and algebraically.
It included over hundreds of tasks with interactive tools to visualize abstract concepts, make connections between algebraic and geometric representations, and work through mathematical solutions with immediate feedback at each step. There was an abundance of rich graphics, charts, diagrams, animations and simulations, which help relate to and visualize the content.

This course focused on four critical areas of Algebra : functions, polynomials, periodic phenomena, and collecting and analyzing data. It allowed me to make connections between verbal, numeric, algebraic, and graphical representations of functions and apply this knowledge as I create equations and inequalities that are used to model and solve mathematical and real-world problems. I refined and expanded my algebraic skills, drawing analogies between the operations and field properties of real numbers and those of complex numbers and algebraic expressions.

I finished the following chapters of study : Relationships between Quantities, Quadratics and Complex Numbers, Polynomials, Rational Functions, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Statistics and Probability, Trigonometric Functions, and Mathematical Modeling.

I had progressed well in this Algebra course in Time4Learning by learning new skills and applying them through activities such as solving equations and creating graphs. I experimented with different mathematical concepts and conducted research on their real-world applications. I have kept a journal to track my progress and shared any challenges or achievements with my advisor. This helps ensure that I am meeting the course requirements and allows for valuable feedback.
